Bronze Young Anbassadors
Our bronze young ambassadors are young people who are currently within primary school year 5 & 6. They are the foundation of our leadership pathway. Here we should have the highest number of young people taking part on the programme.
Leadership Approach
The approach for this stage of the pathway is “leading together”. Here Bronze YA’s will work together to achieve their role outcomes, develop integral skills, Impact priority areas and show their outcomes. They have equal responsibilities and focus on support Individuals to embrace physical activity, sport, movement and play.
Role Outcomes
There are four role outcomes throughout the entire leadership pathway. Although they don’t themselves change, the expected outcomes and language used changes. This allows for an increase in responsibility, expectation and outcomes at each level. Within the Bronze YA level the role outcome descriptors are:
Inspire: Inspire individuals e.g., to engage with and/or participate in sport, physical activity, movement or play.
Influence: Influence individuals e.g., friends, peers, or family members, to be healthy and active.
Lead: Lead together multi-skill, sport, or play activities, providing a positive experience for all participants.
Mentor: Buddy up with other bronzes and informally support and mentor each other.
